Maco 2600 5000 Watt Gamma Match

The Maco 2600 is a high-power gamma match designed for 10 and 11-meter Maco beam antennas. It is used to match unbalanced coaxial feedlines to balanced antenna elements, providing a near-perfect SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) when properly adjusted.

Material: Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum with high-quality Teflon insulation.
Adjustment: The match consists of a capacitor formed by an inner rod and outer tube. Tuning is achieved by sliding the tube in or out to change capacitance and moving the shorting strap (clamp) to find the correct 50-ohm impedance point.
Hardware: It typically uses the G1PC standard hardware kit (brackets, connectors, and straps), which is often sold separately.
Important Note: Adding this modification may render some built-in SWR functions on radios non-functional, requiring an external meter for accurate tuning.

NOTE: Works with all Maco beam antennas except the V-Quad and VQ3 models.
